Q: I’m not excited about fastening anything to the woodwork or walls in my home. Will that damage my finished surfaces?

A: To date, in every home that we have installed gates after a tension gate failed, there has been extensive drywall or woodwork damage that required re-finishing of the entire opening to restore the surfaces to their original condition. We are asked all the time about having to put screw holes in the mounting surfaces and the amount of damage that is caused by mounting them in this fashion. The holes left in the surface after a gate is removed are not any more extensive than the hole left behind after a picture has been hung on the wall. In the event the gates ever have to be removed, the 6 screw holes can be repaired with a small bit of color matched wood putty or a small bit of spackle in the case of mounting on a drywall surface.

Q: How long can I expect for delivery of my Jezroc gate?

A: From the time of placing the order, there is a short email communication process that will take place to verify sizing and style. This process normally can be concluded in three to four emails. Depending on the complexity of the gate design and installation, some may take longer to work out all the details. Due to the diverse nature of the unlimited design possibilities, it is not possible to provide an accurate time frame for all gates that we build. After the details are all verified and fabrication can begin, an approximate timeline will be provided.

 Q: I have a small breed dog and the gate spindles look too far apart to work for me.  

A: ALL gates are custom tailored to fit your specific size requirements, including spindle spacing on the Basic Gates. Special panel additions can be added at the bottom of any gate for a welping room or puppy concerns.

Q: My dog is an escape artist and has learned how to open other gates.  Can you help us with that?

A:  Yes!  We have several different latch designs and we will help you select the right one for your dog.
