Yesterday we traveled once again to southern Ohio to spend the day with our friends Chris and Ivan Rakyta of MAKEPEACE  NEWFOUNDLANDS.  After a sumptuous lunch , featuring Ivan's famous stuffed mushrooms and grilled acorn squash, we installed the second gate of their installation in their beautiful century old farm house. The two gates together really finish off the look of the house nicely and add to the old world charm it so richly displays. Just beautiful!

Later in the afternoon we  also enjoyed a little Draft demonstration from Ivan.   We introduced Jez to a draft harness for the first time which she took to like a duck to water.

We have decided to name the gate design we created especially for them after their Kennel, MAKEPEACE.   So from now on, that particular design shall be know as the Jezroc MAKEPEACE design. It's kind of a cool play on words also, as our gates do indeed help to make and keep the peace!
